Terms and Conditions for Welwyn Physiotherapy Last Updated: May 13, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing and using Welwyn Physiotherapy services, including our mobile physiotherapy services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Service Description Welwyn Physiotherapy provides:
- Mobile physiotherapy services
- Massage therapy
- Personal training and rehabilitation therapy
- Pre/post-operative rehabilitation
- Initial assessments (60 minutes)
- Follow-up sessions (30 minutes)
3. Booking and Appointments
3.1 Booking Process - Appointments must be booked through our approved booking system - All bookings are subject to therapist availability - Initial assessments require completion of health questionnaires
3.2 Cancellation Policy
- 24-hour notice is required for cancellations
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) incur a 50% charge
- No-shows will be charged the full session fee
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Service Rates
- Physiotherapy: £55-80 per session
- Massage Therapy: £65 per 60 minutes
- Personal Training: £50-65 per session
4.2 Payment Terms
- Payment is required at the time of service
- We accept card, bank transfer and credit card payments - Prices are subject to change with notice
5. Client Responsibilities Clients must:
- Provide accurate medical history and information
- Inform the therapist of any changes in health status
- Follow prescribed treatment plans and exercises
- Maintain a safe and suitable environment for mobile services
- Be present at the agreed appointment time and location
6. Practitioner Responsibilities We commit to:
- Maintain professional qualifications and insurance
- Provide evidence-based treatment
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Follow professional healthcare standards
- Provide safe and effective care
7. Health and Safety
7.1 Treatment Environment
- Clients must provide adequate space for treatment -
The environment must be clean and safe
- Proper lighting and ventilation must be available
7.2 Medical Conditions
- Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions
- We reserve the right to refuse treatment if deemed unsafe
- Emergency contacts must be provided where necessary
8. Liability and Insurance
8.1 Professional Insurance
- We maintain professional liability insurance through CSP
- Coverage extends to mobile services 8.2 Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for pre-existing conditions
- Clients participate in treatments at their own risk
- We are not responsible for personal belongings
9. Confidentiality and Data Protection
- All client information is protected under UK data protection laws
- Medical records are maintained securely
- Information sharing requires client consent
- Refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information
10. Intellectual Property All materials, techniques, and documentation provided remain the property of Welwyn Physiotherapy and cannot be reproduced without permission.
11. Communication
- We may contact you regarding appointments and treatment
- Emergency contact information must be kept current
- You may opt-out of non-essential communications
12. Complaints Procedure
- Complaints should be submitted in writing
- We will respond within 5 working days
- Resolution process follows professional guidelines
13. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these terms. Changes will be:
- Posted on our website
- Notified to existing clients
- Effective immediately upon posting
14. Governing Law These terms are governed by UK law and subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.
15. Termination of Services We reserve the right to terminate services if:
- Treatment is deemed ineffective or unsafe
- Client behavior is inappropriate
- Payment terms are not met
- Professional boundaries are crossed
